The Forum for Green Software

Come in, we’re open! Come in, we’re open! The community is now open to everyone. Free of charge. Through the new forum, which can be found in the submenu of “Community+”. Why a forum? So that there is a central place where the still manageable but rapidly growing community can exchange ideas. Until now, there simply hasn’t been one. Of course, companies and committed individuals write articles on their respective websites, and that is good and important. But it was not possible to quickly ask a question or get feedback on an approach. That is exactly what is changing now with the Green Software Design Forum. A forum like this lives from participation. Go ahead! Of course, at the beginning there are only a few people, so the number of writers and contributions will be limited for the time being. But, as with everything to do with green software, that will change quickly.
As already mentioned, access is free of charge. Anyone can read the forum – except in the sections reserved for companies with a corporate membership. These companies also use the forum for consultation among themselves, for example to plan events.
Everyone can also have their say. To do so, you can simply register. Then an additional small menu appears at the top right of the website with which you can jump directly to all the functions of the community, not just the forum.

By the way, the functions also include the creation of a personal profile. For some people it is important to show that they are active in green software. And that they were there at an early stage. And for the other participants, it’s nice to know who they’re talking to.
We look forward to welcoming more new members – Take a look inside!
